How to Steam

What You’ll Need:

  • A yoni steam seat, bowl, or portable steaming device

  • Towel and a comfortable, private space

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Prepare herbs in hot water and let cool slightly — temperature should be warm, not scalding.

  2. Sit comfortably over the steam, covering yourself with a towel to trap the gentle warmth.

  3. Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and allow yourself to settle.

  4. Steam for 10–20 minutes, honoring your body’s signals.

  5. Rest quietly afterward, journaling or meditating on any sensations or thoughts that arise.

Guided Meditation for Yoni Steaming

Invite your attention inward, grounding into your pelvis:

  1. Settle In: Sit comfortably, back supported, feet grounded. Close your eyes. Take three deep, slow breaths.

  2. Connect: Place your hands gently over your womb. Imagine a warm, golden light pooling there, softening and expanding with each breath.

  3. Listen: Ask your womb, “What do you need right now?” Listen without expectation. Notice any sensations, emotions, or messages.

  4. Affirm: Silently or aloud, say:

    “I honor you. I trust you. I belong to you.”

  5. Release: Imagine the steam carrying away tension, old stories, or stagnant energy. Let it rise and dissolve into the air.

  6. Close: Rest for a few moments. Thank your womb, your body, and yourself for showing up.
